After yesterday's chilly weather, it has warmed up and the sun is shining brightly here in Las Vegas. Mr. Troutbend was outside with his library book working on his tan.

We have a neighborhood cat that skulks around our yard, trying to catch the finches that live in our trees. It comes around all hours of the day and night, and taunts our cat. Ironically, it has the same colors as our cat, but is much uglier.

I don't know if it has a home, but when the weather cooled down we didn't see much of that cat, so I thought maybe the owners took it inside. Yesterday I saw it squeezing under our garage door so maybe that's how it gets out of the weather. No, we are not going to start feeding it.

Here is a snow picture of our red cabin in Colorado. I've always wanted to decorate it up for Christmas and wait for a good storm to get a picture.
