What's in the Camera: Snow

The age old question: Why Am I Here? comes to mind.

The reason I'm here today is to watch the snow falling.

We need several feet of it, but will be lucky to get 3 or 4 inches.

I went to town the other day and saw this rather tacky slogan on the back of a van:

The service they provide is drain line scoping, like a colonoscopy for your septic system.

I have to go to town to see what the mountains look like where I live:

Meanwhile, I knitted this cat.

Love your kitty. Yes, by all means, next project should be a fox.

I wouldn't want that turd job, but the slogan made me laugh! Nice kitty!

I am picturing the people who decided to put that on their company truck - they must have thought it was the funniest thing in the world.

Your cat is cute. We are only getting a drizzle here.

I wanted to see if I would like making a stuffed animal. It was okay, and I might move on to make some more soon.

Have you named your cat yet? How about "Marmalade"?
comment by nittineedles on Mar 23, 2013 12:40 AM ()
If I named it, I'd have to talk to it sometimes. It would be good colors for a fox.

I don't feel sorry for the American car manufacturers because they continued to churn out those land barge gas hogs in the 70s during the oil crisis and refused to make economy cars that would get better mileage. And the quality of the American cars was so poor. I can still remember when it was huge news that a Toyota or something had more than 100,000 miles on it - unheard of in an American car back in the 70s and 80s.

Have you seen the commercial "Your wife is HOT"? By an a/c company.

Actually if you look out my window it looks like it is going to snow--of course when you walk out that's another story!

No, haven't seen that ad - maybe they will show it when the weather warms up. It's getting warmer in Las Vegas already.

I recently encountered a vehicle which had a sign on the back: If your car's not American, neither are you. I wonder if the guy realizes how much of the innards of his "American" car were manufactured overseas. Love the photos!!

Your reply is above - the one about the car manufacturers.
