Buddy the Cat Birthday Soon

Here are some recent photos of Buddy the Cat. His 16th birthday is April 1. He likes to play pinball, trying to get at the balls through the glass. Our Rocky and Bullwinkle has the multi-ball feature so Buddy just goes nuts during that. It's hard to see the playing field with a 15 pound cat spread out over it, so all we can do is hit the flippers when the ball shows up next to them.

You know how cats are about magazines - put one on the floor or the bed and they camp out on it like they own it. He was owning this library book the other day.

One of the lions at the MGM casino in Las Vegas. They can see us but they can't hear us.

In Bud's case it's an approximate birthday. I debated about picking a holiday because I didn't want it to detract from his special day, but he seems to enjoy the jokes.

Yea for Buddy, hanging in and still healthy. My Chewy, also weighty, has some poop problems and offsets on things. I had a pile of filing on the floor next to the filing cabinet and had to sponge off detritus and let it dry. I won't be using the floor as a way station again. Give Buddy a scratch for me.

I gave him a little shoulder massage, too. He really likes that. We know what you're going through. We've had to make a double kitty box, a moat arrangement that works pretty well, but twice the work.

Buddy's favorite thing is tummy rubs. He likes to be held tummy up and carried around the house, arms held out, like Super Cat.
