Apologies and Here's the Fox

I owe a lot of you replies to comments, and promise I will get around to it one of these days.

The mice have stopped filling up my trap overnight, so I must have caught most of the ones that moved in lately. Most of them were able to swim to shore when I dumped them into the river, but I am hoping they have decided to seek shelter in the rocks along the river bank.

I love that he's in such good shape and feeling so comfy around you. Love that fox. Don't worry about catching up. Somehow, my E mail is hovering around 300 and even spending time with it to get it down, isn't working because each day brings in 30 or so new ones.

That tail is really something. They sleep out in the open in the winter - no hole in the ground for them - so it keeps them warm.

This year he's put himself on a schedule where he comes around just one day a week. We never know what he's going to come up with.

He's quite an animal. I hate to think of what Benny would do if he ever meets up with one, but it wouldn't be a good thing!

Foxes probably figure out where to stay away from. I get the feeling that although he likes visiting here, he could take it or leave it, so if we had dogs, he would just stay away.
