You have such a wonderful, beautiful place to spend your afternoons together. I am glad!
I am not surprised to hear about Buffy and his ice chips. Pups definitely seem to love that!

I bet the beachtime with the friend will be a nice distraction. I can see why you would have a bout with depression since you are balancing some challenging situations with your health and the police issue. Just remember that you are a very special and loved person. You have gotten through alot over your life, and you will get through this period, too!

It is never easy to get news that is not optimistic when seeing a doctor. It does sound like they are willing to not have you get treatment immediately, which usually means that they don't think there is any immediate danger. Hopefully, your body will kick in. I know that my mother had a genetic blood disorder that affected her platlets, and they were able to provide her with a treatment. They might be able to do the same with you, if it becomes necessary.

Keep your chin up. You are loved by so many people like your friend, family, and the people here! We are here to support you!

I am pretty intrigued by this. To be honest most (really all) third-party candidates really don't have much of a chance because our electoral set up really protects a two-party system, but their running does give them a chance to have their views potentially become a part of the national discussion. I know too many people who really dislike Barr so, but I think it can be helpful to expand the political discourse.

I am a bit torn on this one because I was a big fan of the original. From the reviews I have been seeing, it is not standing up to the orginal. I don't get why they decided to remove the fact that the colony is supposed to be on Mars ... both in the original and the short story by Philip K. Dick, who is one of the masters of sci-fi. There clearly is a lot of action, based on the previews. I have a feeling that I will be disappointed in it so I am going to wait until it comes out on DVD.

He will definitely be missed. Maeve Binchy, who is a popular writer, also passed away on Monday. It is a sad week for books.

It sounds like a great way to shift your artistic focus. Your local library may have some books about writitng/publishing children's books. I know that both my previous and current libraries do.
