Wildlife

We have a lot of wildlife along our main highway, and people passing by stop their cars to take pictures and snarl up the traffic flow.

This summer's moose in "Downtown Drake:"

Note the lady on crutches getting ready to cross a major highway where the speed limit is 45 mph.

Here's a photo from our Parks and Wildlife agency that sums up our frustration with the bears - that's a $300 bear-proof trash bin, and Mr. Bear is taunting us - good luck keeping him out of it.

When you aren't allowed to burn trash, it must be a worry if you have a lot of it that week. That is a great photo.

The bear obviously knows what is inside and is out for the reward! I
would be more sympathetic to the bears if they didn't eat people and
inflict wounds on them as well as be so terribly destructive.

" lady on crutches getting ready to cross a major highway where the speed limit is 45 mph." but she has to get across!! There was no traffic coming but she does look like she is looking at car coming---who I hope stopped!
