I found a great blog site, e x c e s s i v e l o c i t y with wonderful road trip photos taken around the southwestern states, including many back roads and high country views. The author is a young woman named Anna living in Colorado who takes long trips on a motorcycle with a helmet camera and camps out in beautiful spots.



Here is a slot canyon at Bryce Canyon National Park in Utah. This is very attractive because it might be more accessible for some. Many of the slot canyons in Zion National Park (also Utah) require wading through water to get to, or hiking to the ones near Moab (where the guy cut off his own arm).
