Friday we went to see a wildfire fighting airplane demonstration at the local airport. It holds up to 2,500 gallons of a gel that is dropped out of the bottom of the plane onto the fires. The gel causes the water to stick to trees and rocks, and evaporate slower.
The camera lens is dirty from the the props blowing dirt around.

As busy as they are, you'd think they wouldn't have time for demonstrations.
That is an interesting looking plane.
I took that trip here a few years ago when there was a fire in the Everglades!
