Driving Through Utah

This is Interstate 15 south of Salt Lake City.

I got this picture from a kayaking site. It's one of those slot canyons in Utah during a brief time of high water in the spring:

Here it is when it's dry.

This is on the other side of the state, Mesa Arch near Moab.

Like a lot of states Utah has boring parts and parts that take your breath away. Unfortunately, for some states, sometimes it takes all day to drive through the boring parts to get to the good ones.
