I went down to hang out with Riley tonight. He was doing sound at The Concert Pub. On Saturdays, they have tribute bands. Tonight band was a Beatles tribute band and they were great!

During one set, the did "Hey Jude". Lot's of people got up and danced. I noticed one older couple, probably late 50's, maybe early 60's. They were dancing slowly to the song, just gently swaying to the music together. All around them, people were waving their arms and singing along. To watch them, it was as if they were oblivious to everything around them and it was just them out there. Then, for just a second, the woman reached down and grabbed her man's ass and squeezed. It made me smile.

It was obvious that they had been together for a long time. I thought it was nice that there was still that spark that would cause her to grope her man on the dance floor like that.

I didn't stay long. I was tired. I had been on a jobsite at 7:00 AM this morning. I was out until 2:30 last night. I was going to leave earlier. I am glad I didn't. I am glad I got to see them dance.
