Zounds!! Kazaam!! The best show on TV just keeps rollicking along with surprises and plot twists.

Mary Ann has placed a spell on everyone at Tara's birthday party at Sookie's house, turning the party goers into hedonistic beasts. Daphne leads Sam into the woods, undressing as she goes. Sam loses sight of her for a moment and sees a doe. Suddenly (gasp) the doe becomes Daphne--she is a shapeshifter too!

Arlene and Terry are also in the woods, and under the influence of the spell are getting romantic together.

At the vampire hotel in Dallas, (light blocking drapes a specialty) Sookie follows Barry, a hotel employee whom Sookie discovered is a telepath like herself, and pleads with him to talk to her. He refuses, saying he wants nothing to do with her. Bill is upset with Jessica ordering up a male prostitute, and with Sookie being so careless--he's afraid she might get kidnapped.
Jessica phones Hoyt, and they talk like two love struck teens.

Jason has been promoted to the Soldier of God Camp by the Fellowship Of The Sun. Sara the preacher's wife admires Jason for helping another recruit who has been his tormentor. Sara's husband has been ignoring her and she isn't happy. He won't let her come along when he shows Jason a secret stash of vampire killing weapons--wooden bullets, wooden arrows, silver bullets, silver throwing stars and flamethrowers.

Later she goes into the bathroom where Jason is in the tub, locks the door and says after all he's been through God thought he deserved some happiness-then puts her hand down in the tub and gives Jason some happiness.

Lafayette shows up at Merlott's and asks Sam for his job back. Sam says you disappeared for weeks and we were all worried--talk to me! But Lafayette is unusually subdued and quiet and won't tell Sam anything--but he gets his job back.



Mary Ann has inveigled herself, Eggs, who has become Tara's lover, and Carl into the house with Tara. Tara says no, this is Sookie's house, you can't. Mary Ann protests it'll only be a few days and Tara relents. She's determined to keep Tara under her influence, even parking outside Merlott's and casting a spell of discord on the people inside (hoping Tara will quit working there.)

Bill keeps asking Eric why he is so determined to find Godric, the missing vampire sheriff of Dallas. In a flashback to 1,000 years ago, Eric tells of being a mortally wounded Viking who is already placed on a funeral pyre by his fellows, to be sent to Valhalla. In a flash, a strange looking tattoo-ed vampire with blood on his mouth and chin kills the other soldiers and leaps on Eric. Eric asks Are You Death? The creature says yes and says he will give Eric what he wants most--Life. Eric whispers Life and the vampire attacks him. Godric is his maker.

Ending: Sookie and Bill are having sex, as a lovely woman is walking down the hall outside their room. She is the vampiress from the Civil War who made Bill. She hears his voice and stops cold--she has found him again!
