I've had several days to think about the news that Osama Bin Laden was assassinated. There's something cockeyed and cockamamie about that story, folks.
The exact sequence of events has been revised several times; then a photo of the corpse was going to be released to the press, then was suppressed. Photos of a dead body won't cause any American nightmares--not after decades of Steven King movies and CSI episodes. So what if the photos would agitate his followers? They're agitated already, and Americans who had to deal with the remains of their loved ones in the aftermath of 9/11 deserve to see the sob dead.
But the burial at sea was an outrageous story. Surely the body of Bin Laden would have been given over to American forensic pathologists in the U.S. for a detailed autopsy. That burial at sea story following a Muslim ceremony was ridiculous. What hooey. Our government expects Americans to swallow hook line and sinker any pap fed to them. It's insulting.
Also, Bin Laden had a twin brother--how do they know it wasn't the twin who was shot? Identical twins have identical DNA. And Bin Laden was on dialysis--this medical procedure must be done at least three times a week to stay alive. Was a dialysis machine or peritoneal dialysis equipment found in the compound? I'd like to know that.
Otherwise, this story has as many holes ans Swiss cheese, and stinks like Limberger.
