Just a few days ago I took the quilts off the bed, put away the space heaters, stored the winter clothes--I mean, winter was over, right? Not by a long shot. Record breaking cold temperatures will come tonight; a freeze is expected. Unprecedented weather for us.
I heard a scientist on LINK TV say the other night that CO2 emissions and pollution have irretriveably impacted weather patterns. He said we're already on the slippery slope and even drastic curtailment of CO2 emissions worldwide beginning TODAY would be too late to stop what's going to happen.
If I told you what I think the future will be like, you wouldn't want to read about it. So will keep this upbeat by saying at least this unexpected cold snap will banish the mosquitos. And I much prefer cooler weather than the heat that's to come. So today will get out some long sleeved shirts and my favorite warm green knit pants and make some soup and enjoy this (probably) last cool weather for months to come. Susil
