Shrek on Facebook

I know a woman who tells me she's on Facebook, and I happen to know a guy she's communicating with.
She's never seen this guy--he posted his high school photo on Facebook. But I told her this guy is pushing 60, and looks like Shrek's brother except he ain't green. She was surprised. So was I--like, can you actually believe what people post on Facebook, take it at "face value" so to speak?

Also, she is friendly with a woman who hit her up for some money to pay her cable bill!!
That wised her up a bit, but her naivete surprises me.
Anyway, I'm a grump so ignore me.

A friend of mine is always telling me her immature 26 year-old daughter is always running off to live with losers she went to high school with. Silly me, I kept asking 'where does she meet these people - she doesn't go to bars.'

It's facebook - she starts some hot and heavy correspondence with them, and the next thing we know she's moving into their house, and about a week later she'll calling her parents to come get her - she's moving back home.

My age is out there for all to see and it probably keeps some predators away. What, me worry? I'm finally on Facebook but I don't use it much. I dip in and out of friends' pages. I haven't found it easy to use reliably. I need a tutorial for all technology.

Hi teal; This lady got on Facebook and it becomes an addiction--every time someone leaves a comment on her Facebook, it goes automatically to her phone, so it occupies a lot of time.
It's not for me tho.

Lot of pictures are much younger than they are.trying to impress people.
Noticed mine,but I am not trying to impressed anyone.
Mostly if anyone can recognized my youth in high school.
If someone does,then we can talk if he or she was in my class in the fifties.But at my age I think most of them are gone.
