I like everything to go along smoothly and uncomplicated. I like routine. I like peace and quiet. Little things annoy me. For instance:
This morning I went out to the carport and saw that some bird who roosts under the eaves at night had pooped on my driver's side car window. A long skid mark poop, that had dried. Grumbling and mumbling, I cleaned it off before I got in the car. Then I drove down to the end of the road to get the newspapers.
I have seven day a week paper delivery. Supposed to have, anyway. I didn't get a paper Thursday, but let that pass. Today, Sunday, I went down to get what I thought would be the Friday, Saturday, and Sunday papers which are put into an old mail box. No papers.
Now tomorrow I'll have to call and complain about that. Grrr and grumble.

Oh I forgot to mention the bowl of sliced cucumbers I had on the kitchen counter in a marinade of vinegar, sugar and water with celery seed. Somehow I managed to elbow the bowl off the counter; the whole shebang left a wet vinegary mess on the counter, dripped down the cabinets and onto the floor and wet my clothes as I hastily leaned over cleaning it all up. Lots of scrubbing and wiping and picking up cucumber. Grrr and grumble again--all in one day.
