We're baking under 102 degree temperatures down here, but yesterday I went out anyway. The only way to stay cool is to leave your hair damp after a bath, so out I went. I wanted to go the monthly yard sales held first Saturday every month on the grassy field at the county seat. I'm always looking for picture frames for my watercolors.
One vendor seems to have bought inventory from a motel chain--there were motel lamps and pictures--those bland landscapey prints screwed to the walls of motel rooms etc. But I did find in her vast array three frames--then I got to thinking--uh--what if there's bedbugs in the frames? So I'll stick the frames out in the sunshine in this 100 degree heat for solar sterilization--I hope.
There were people selling fresh vegetables, so I bought snap beans, cukes and blueberries--although I might as well take Ex-Lax as eat blueberries--zoom, down the tubes fast.
Then home to go through the mail and shred stuff etc. I like to keep my office neat and not let things pile up. Suze Orman the financial guru told a viewer who was questioning her finance's spending habits, to look at his car his apartment and his office. If they were messy and disorganized, it's the sign of a messy mind, of not paying attention to details. I believe that. My best friend is horrible at managing money, and her house and car are a mess.
Anyway, hunkering down in my cabin until tomorrow. Bye
