Well chillun, I haven't cranked up Methuselah for at least a couple of weeks. This is what happened. I took the flu shot this year that had been fortified with the H1N1 virus, and at the same time, took the Pneumovax shot. I believe this combination of vaccinations did a number on me.

I started having falls--right out of the blue, the nerves or muscles or whatever, in my legs, would turn to water, and BAM. Down I'd go as if I'd been gunshot. Just that quick, instantaneously, no warning--down I'd go, resulting in several bad falls. Luckily I haven't broken anything and the symptoms are slowly fading, but I did get a ton of soreness and aches. Sitting at the computer hurt too much, so mostly have avoided that.

This is the thing you have to do. Get up and keep going, do as much as you can. Make adjustments to your activities of daily living to be safer, and keep on truckin.' That's what I've done, anyway. So missed everyone, and hope to get back to my computer time now.
