I have an appointment with a new doctor tommorrow and I'm as nervous as if it were a first date. Three months ago I went to the clinic where I've been seeing nurse practioners for about three years. I go every six months, they draw a blood panel to check blood sugar and kidney function, thyroid etc., I get my routine Rx's rewritten and go home.
But on the last visit to the clinic I requested to see the M.D. Need to see an M.D. now and then, I thought. Wrong.
This guy a "doctor" Griffin was a quack who gave me bad medical directives, and he was rude, inconsiderate and hostile. I left the clinic all upset. That bastard gave a cursory glance of my feet and said (speaking of my right big toenail) "It's got to come off." No reason was given when I asked why. No "why" from him, just a surly announcement it had to come off.
Both big toenails are discolored from probably nail fungus, but they don't give me any problems, don't hurt, nothing.
I say to hin "I'm a diabetic and I'm not gonna have a nail removed for no reason." Then he refused to write a RX for a long standing BP pill, saying I needed to get tested again, (using a doctor he knows, not the doctor I requested--one who has my medical records and has managed it for years.) I say my BP is fine and this pill works great, why rock the boat?
So I'm gonna go tomorrow and see this new one and hope he has some common sense and is not a total as*hole like Griffin was. If I knew how to file a complaint against that quack I would have.

Take care.
