Teal Will Protect Me

I haven't mentioned much politically on this blog. I suppose it's because I don't want to be trounced. I've read many political blogs on mybloggers. As a matter of fact many of my good friends have blogs that are almost exclusively political. I can kind of see the trends forming... as I see them forming in the mass media. Republicans (like my friends in real life) are somewhat stuck with Mr. Bush and thus, with Senator McCain... well... some of them. Independents and Democrats are gravitating toward Senator Obama. He is very likeable, talented, articulate, and good-hearted. If he were the nominee, I would vote for him. However. . . I like Hillary. . . . . . . . Now, I better duck because I can feel the missiles coming (maybe they're just soft honeybugg muffins -- or maybe her mama's mashed potatoes.).

End of short blog.

I like Obama and I like Hilary too. I wish they would stop bashing each other and aim at McCain.

From Australia it seems pretty clear that the unpleasant infighting among the democrats will see McCain in as president... and although I am sick of the present administration, and admire Obama, a cat-fight is not a good way to run a country.

I don't think anyone can do much to fix things right now. I am still listening and watching. I try to stay away from public opinion....listening only to what comes from their mouths and not what othere think about it. I don't like people telling me what to think.

I have been wanting Hillary for a really long time ... even before the election cycle really kicked off. I think she is bright and talented and would do a wonderful job. I could vote for Obama though if he ends up being the nominee.

I was leaning toward Obama, but now I'm pulling for Hillary! So, you see, you didn't get bashed as badly as you thought.

Rudy was my candidate, and he's long gone... so at this point, I won't be getting emotional about politics...

A lot of women will vote for Hilary because of her gender. She is intelligent and strong but I distrust politicians too.

I pretty well keep my mouth shut on politics also since I have a strong distrust for politicians--Illinois is known for its criminals. But, I have always admired Hillary, a strong and very intelligent woman. I think that I want to place her on a pedestal to celebrate the accomplishments of women everywhere and their strengths, but if the truth were known, she is probably no better or no less than any other politician--they can all be bottom feeders.
