Recipe for Chili

I just read elderjane's recipe for chili. So, here is mine:

1 can Dennison's fat-free chili
1/2 medium onion, chopped
about 1/3 stalk of celery, chopped
1/2 can petite diced tomatoes (save the rest for tomorrow)

Mix together and heat. Don't let it burn.

Well, what were you expecting? I always told you I didn't cook... much.

Fast and easy and creative. I am going to try that holiday salad too.

Sounds like my kind of cooking! (This is coming from a guy who has a hard time boiling water!) I got a kick out of "Don't let it burn."

Tomatoes simmered 24 hours make a nice sauce with thinly sliced onions and garlic. We boil fresh peppers and fava beans in a separate pot. Towards the end we might throw in a few bits of hamburger for seasoning. We serve chili with a boilermaker. If we miss on the chili, we can have another shot and a beer.

How creative, almost home made, I think there is a TV show like that.

Here's my new version of the Lime jello traditional desert for Holidays.
I used piña colada yogurt instead of cool whip,
I used low fat Philly Cheese,
and I did use the whole can of pineapple and
topped it all with shredded coconut.
LOW FAT and oh so yummy.

Calling opening a can a "recipe" is a bit of overstatement. At least you add some other ingredients. Sounds good!

I just open the can...can't get much easier than that..
