Kristy...I quit watching animal planet after seeing those heart breaking puppy mills, I was shocked as I watched those sick cattle suffering trying to get to their feet while they poked and used a front end loader to get them to slaughter...these are sad statements for our time. But it's the unfortunate way of this world, I disapprove of all of these horrible acts but stay away from being reminded...denial is the most convenient form of defense...I have no choice. As corny as it does sound, I always try to focus on the good things in my life and of course never compare myself to others where we are in comparison to material or ecomomic matters. Money never has meant much to me beyond its necessity to live with the basic requirements and avoid buying things I want vereses what I really need. You have a hell of a lot going for you and all you need to do is focus on the good things and have confidence you'll figure things out in the end. The larger the challenges the more it builds confidence that we can over come anything. Hold on and steadfast to your dreams knowing that no matter how long it takes, they will emerge. Visualize it daily and move closer daily no matter what small steps you take. Don't let anything or anyone dictate what you think, hold on to what you believe always. The heart is the strongest muscle in the body, and you my friend have a big one...

You need to get a plan Gee on that housing issue some how, you can't just let things fall any way they may. Find out the market value and sell it quickly? Otherwise you have to deal with the daily stress of what's going to happen next. I know I may simplify this a bit, but it'll be more emotionally health dealing with the reality of a plan then letting him drive your stress levels. Knpwing the realty of the options and conclusions is far better then the unknown. Wishing you the best!

Everything is relative based on our experience and evolved perceptions.
Hence our filtered realty emerges...

Bush has devastated the reputation of America and yes, we are now viewed more negatively then ever before. He'll now slip out the back door leaving a bankrupt nation embroiled in two wars that continue to have to no focused conclusion but continue to drain the vanishing wealth of our great nation. As for the gun issue, I can understand their perception with the highest murder rate on planet earth and the availability of assault weapons and routine shootings in our high schools. Clearly, there's coralations.

And what a tragic time it was, 1968 developed into a year of rage. All across America emotions and frustration were peaking. Two leaders, that brought the promise of hope to a generation, were assassinated. Martin Luther King Jr. was assassinated on April 4, 1968, followed by the assassination of one of the anti-war movements hopefuls, Robert F. Kennedy on June 5/6 (shot early morning of June 5th, died 26 hours later), 1968.[3] The Democratic convention got a lot of attention because of the number of demonstrators and the use of force by the Chicago police. The rioting, which took place between demonstrators and the Chicago Police Department and the Illinois National Guard, was istigated by the then Mayor who was determined to stop the demonstartors. People were beaten and even newsmen of the day, Mike Wallace and Dan Rather, were both roughed up by the Chicago police inside the halls of the Democratic Convention. It was a dark day and even darker when Nixon was elected and 40,000 more troops were killed in Vietnam and the war continued for 7 more years. What started out with hope and Robert Kennedy turned out to be one of the darkest days in modern American History.

Well Annie, I agree, anything can still happen. As for Truman, Bush recently tied him for the lowest ratings ever in modern history for a sitting president. And part of the reason was Truman's firing of Gen. McArthur who was waging his own foriegn policy and almost brought the U.S. into a major war with China. He did the right thing, but yet he paid the price?
And it is interesting that you mention celebration. This is the first time my family is almost universally all voting for the same candidate...incredibly rare, so yes I did say that we plan a celebration if the right thing happens on November 4th. Again we'll see...

He's looking white as paste lately and maybe he should have taken a cue when she said a "Palin/McCain" Administration...
