That is NOT merely bullying. That is absolutely unacceptably offensive material.
What do you want to be Rupert Murdoch owns the paper that published this trash?

It seems like people are happier if they have someone to ridicule.
I'm a pretty large woman myself, and I have to say, from Childhood on, I've seen fat people being made fun of. People put others down to make their sense of no-self-worth feel better.

Reading this entry has hardly been boring Nena! it's good to hear that, in spite of some difficulties, things are improving at your home. Having a good helper is a wonderful thing.

How nice that you all had a good visit!
It looks like Autumn is showing her colors up in Maine.
You are all such handsome fellows!
What a great visit!

I wonder if it is a sign of age that I would rather eat food I make than eat restaurant food?
Got to love that Garfield!

Guillain-Barre (ghee-YA-buh-RAY) syndrome is a disorder in which your body's immune system attacks your nerves. Weakness and tingling in your extremities are usually the first symptoms. These sensations can quickly spread, eventually paralyzing your whole body. In its most severe form, Guillain-Barre syndrome is a medical emergency requiring hospitalization.

The exact cause of Guillain-Barre syndrome is unknown, but it is often preceded by an infectious illness such as a respiratory infection or the stomach flu. Luckily, Guillain-Barre syndrome is uncommon, affecting only 1 or 2 people per 100,000.

There's no known cure for Guillain-Barre syndrome, but several treatments can ease symptoms and reduce the duration of the illness. Most people recover from Guillain-Barre syndrome, though some may experience lingering effects from it, such as weakness, numbness or fatigue.

One of my Aunties had an allergic reaction that triggered this disease. She never got better, either. They said lots of times people get it from allergic reactions. One more thing to worry about.

I've read recently that in China people traditionally pay their doctor when they are well. If they become ill, they stop paying the doctor until they are all better. I like that plan.

Gossip by and about the dead isn't news. JFK is dead, Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis is dead, John F. Kennedy Junior is dead. I can't imagine what possessed Caroline Kennedy Schlossberg, a lawyer, writer and editor, and the only the surviving member of that small family, to dredge up these tapes. It makes a public spectacle of her mother's grief process. Times sure have changed, and not for the better. Let the past lie quiet with the dead.

Not as dramatically or publicly, most families have lost this many family members over these decades. Not all of us are tormented by media vultures.

Wonder if the Joseph P. Kennedy bad karma is visited on the children and grandchildren, or if the statistics are about normal for the country.

For a good Dark Roast without bitterness, I recommend you overlook the fact that it bears the Starbucks name and give their Italian Roast a try. I find it less beastly expensive in their coffee shops, and they will grind to suit.
