Yesterday after allowing Paul to read my blog he and I went for a ride out into the desert. We had a blast. Now he knew what my intentions were once we got far into the desert with no one else around, but he had other ideas.

He wanted to talk..He asked me if I was just using him for sex and if I was to not waste my time because he does not want to date a slut or a slut wannabe..WOW!! He then asked me if I was over David and to please tell him what happened between the two of us. So I told him everything. He then asked me if I was still in love with David, and I told him that I was never truly in LOVE with him but that I cared deeply for him at one time.

Paul then told me he does not want a fling, if this is all he wanted then there were many women on and off base he could have one with but this is not his style of dating. He told me he HATES one-night-stands and they are too dangerous now a days anyway.

He told me he wants us to go out on dates, spend time together but not rush into anything and this includes sex..

I was so relieved that he told me all of this because I lost my nerve and would not have been able to seduce him anyway. Plus I was hoping he was not that kind of guy anyway.

After our drive into the desert we went out to eat and he and I started to talk about Math and some of what I do for a living. He is intelligent, soft spoken, he can be tough when he has to be for work. He is an all around nice guy. I like him.

So for now we will date, and take things very easy.
