As a family we sent letters/cards to soldiers last Christmas. It's a nice thing to do and easy too.
Interesting Fredo
Know how to prevent sagging? Just eat till the wrinkles fill out. I think that one really works
I don't know too many people who make that kind of money. And I would have to think MOST people don't know people who make that kind of money. So, having said MOST, how could "they" be the engines of the economy? They're not, we are. Us average working class "Joe's"
Looking forward to seeing the new hair pic Kristy. It sounds pretty. Work possibilities sound promising too. Cool start to the SHORT week,
Happy Turkey day!
Have a great week Debbie.
Love that Randall. I am happy to be working from home today, anxious to get my responsibilities and chores done, so I can light my Yankee Christmas cookie candle, get cozy under my favorite red & white snowflake down throw blanket (a gift from my beautiful niece/Goddaughter) and get back to my book until my fabulous husband comes home and joins me for dinner. Then my kids come back home to me from their Dad's tomorrow after school. It's a great life, indeed.
Is it possible that your husband is "fearful" of all your changes. Like maybe he'll loose you or that he's no longer good enough?? It "sounds" as if he's speaking and acting out of some type of "fear" within himself.
Mary, at first, I thought you spelled EVIL wrong Congrats on such an impressive evaluation. Don't let hubby's flippant comment bring you down. Sometimes people just say things. Don't take it personally. Retail management is the hardest job(s) I ever had. It's stressful and the pay does not justify the sacrifice.
Brace yourself for more "decisions" to come involving the kids. It's hard to swallow sometimes when the "ex" does something "without" your permission, but after awhile, you'll just come to the conclusion that as long as the kids weren't hurt, things will be fine. I "used" to cut my kids hair, take them to the dentist, doctor, etc. But their Stepmother basically shoved me out of those doings (because her husband, my ex has the health insurance card) And now, LOL... since she works full time and has taken those "responsibilities" from me... LOL... I get more "fun" time with my kids while she has to scramble her schedule to do all that "non-fun" stuff. Tee Hee... there really is justice in this world AND "what goes around comes around"
Cute!!
Ain't it the truth? (Sorry solitaire, I know you dislike the word ain't. Just using it this time for effect, )
I guess you gotta love what you're passionate about more than you love the money, because as this post has demonstrated, the money's not enough to get rich on. Good article Martin.
