Side Trip to Doggie Hell
I did my girlfriend duty last night and called in to Dave the Dog sitter to see if he's okay since Dave is not the healthiest of guys. Dave said he was okay but Ben, the three year old pitt bull was very depressed yesterday. I guess Ty, the large puppy got a little rough during play time and Ben had enough and mopped around the house all day refusing to eat or play.
So I offered to come over and play with them for a little while and see if I could mend the friendship between the two dogs. Plus Ben already has those sad doggie eyes that break your heart when he gives you that depressed look.
I got there and both dogs were ecstatic to see me. I think they'd be happy to see anyone but I could tell that Ben was super happy to see me. I took them out back and we ran laps and played fetch. It was only a mere 90 degrees outside so I was easily worn out after 20 minutes. I gave them treats and chatted with Dave for a few and then headed home.
The doggies seemed a little happier and Ben was back to playing tug of war with the pup.
I may not be a fan of the large puppy, Ty but I do like TBD's dog, Ben a lot and didn't want him to be so sad.
