I must apologize for my absence, I didn't mean to cause any concern.

((Warning to Cindy and Sis, the following will sound very familiar!))

I have been having all kinds of problems with the eye, the pressure was too high so I got drops for that, then the change in the pressure caused clouding of the cornea. So new drops for that one. On top of it all, I have to use two monitors at work for 8 hours, and by time I come home my good eye is hurting from the strain, and the bad eye is hurting from trying to keep it closed. I tried a eye patch, but didn't like the way it fit, and couldn't wear my glasses with one as well.

I have a Eye Doctor appointment on Aug 21st, and I think he will schedule operation #4 at that time.

Work is getting bad, but I am counting down, seven months and a few days and I can retire. Tonight, (Monday) was my last day of the week, and I now have a week of vacation!! I really need it. I am stressed out over work, stressed out over the eye, and just stressed out period.

Pat and I are going to a little town called North Port Florida on my vacation. We are thinking of moving there when I retire. It is close to Venice Florida and I love Venice Florida. Venice is very expensive though. We will check out the houses there, take a drive to Venice and dip our toes in the Gulf of Mexico, look for some shark teeth, and have dinner at a place called "The Crows Nest" https://www.crowsnest-venice.com/ on Sunday August 17th. that is our wedding anniversary. 40 Years. It is hard to believe it has been 40 years.

So before I go, I would like to introduce everyone to Jesters new baby brother, Dingus!




The first photo shows Dingus when the son in law found him in the middle of the road, he was the runt of the litter, the vet said he was about 7 weeks old, weighed something like 11oz. had a eye infection and his eyes were swollen shut.

The daughter took him to the vet the next day and got him on medication. He is doing very, very well now, running around, attacking Pat's feet, just being a kitten.

The night the son in law found him it rained really bad and I think if he was out in that it would have finished him off.

So Dingus has a new big brother, and Jester has someone to keep him occupied!! They get along like two pea's in a pod as Forrest Gump would have said.
