OK, I don't know what happened earlier, but I wrote a article about my experience at the hospital, and for some reason the post didn't show up on my end.
So here it is again,,,
I started by singing the praises of our own nurses here at MyBloggers, Cindy Lou Hoo,,, and Carolyn Dawgnurse,,, two ladies who I am sure do as good a job as the nurses I dealt with Monday. They were true professionals.
Then I told how my surgery was for 12 noon, and I was told to get there by 9am. By 9:10 I was in the prep area and waiting for my turn. My blood pressure was soaring, and the anxiety was building.
When I met with the anesthesiologist (God I love spell checkers!) I told her the best thing they could do was put me out and keep me out! OHHH NOOO, you will be just fine, you will start coming around and be ok. WRONG!!
The procedure was to only take a hour. It started at noon, and when I came to it was 2pm. I was told by my darling wife Pat that the doctor said I was a little combative! Imagine that!! He said it took three nurses to hold me still till the drugs took over again and the lights went out. I don't remember anything.
Today was the followup visit where they took my patch off, and checked the eye. When the doctor came in, I apologized for my behavior, and did tell him that I warned the anesthesiologist. He said, "Yeah, she told me that." So I felt vindicated.
So checking the receipts from the diner, I found out old Paulie Walnuts has a certain way of running a business. when I checked the cash for deposit this is what I found for one days business,,,,,

Good job Paulie!
