Some people are afraid of what they don't understand, or they perceive is a threat to their way of life. I believe we need to stress tolerance to our children, take people for who they are. I believe if more of this was practiced at home this world would be a happier place to be

What bothers me is that we are fighting a battle overseas that we are not going to win, no matter how it turns out. The money we have wasted over there, coupled with the money we give every piss-ant 3rd world country could be used to better the living conditions of people right here at home.I am sick and tired of seeing children having to go hungry, I am sick and tired of seeing senior citizens scared to leave their houses. I just hope when November rolls around this country will get someone who can do this changing.

What we have been seeing in the Artic is just a prelude to what is going to happen to this earth if we don't start putting ecological responsibility ahead of bottom line profits

As a country we need to take a harder stance on sexual predators, though laws have changed there are still many "loopholes" that need closing.
