Tonight, Grandson's half-brother graduates from highschool. I first met S when he was three years old, and I fell in love with him. In fact, I bought him his first bicycle that Christmas as well as hosting his fourth birthday party at my house.
He was Kenna's husband's son from a previous relationship. When Grandson was born, he looked just like S. The first thing my mother said when she saw him was, "Oh! He looks just like S!" When Shawn's parents first saw him, his dad laughed saying, "I think I've seen you somewhere before!"
In actuality, they both look just like their dad. They have his blond hair and blue eyes. One would never guess that they have different mothers.
Grandson is spending this weekend in Bricktown with his dad, his aunt, his grandparents, his great-grandfather, and his half-sister, all here for S's graduation. The ceremonies are at the Ford Center, which is the new arena in Bricktown.
G is so excited to see his dad and his grandparents. He doesn't get to see them enough. I am happy for S, who is going on to college on an athletic scholarship as well as for Grandson, who is so happy to see his dad and his grandparents.
