1 If by Auto, 2 If by Plane, 3 If by Elephant

Haven't shown you Holly's new wheels...here's  a picture.  This is not the exact car, but the color and make are correct.  She bought the one with the turbo-charged V-8 and the package that converts from automatic to standard shift...JUST WHAT THE KID NEEDS!!

You will notice it is red!  She does love those red cars!  But what other color would an OU grad drive? Thank goodness OU is for Oklahoma University and not Oregon University, or we would have to be looking at those "god awful colors" of the Ducks.

It is off to Hawaii for two weeks for Holly, Bevan and the girls Monday morning.  They changed their plans.  Instead of spending a week in northern California, they decided to fly to Maui for a week; then on to Honolulu for a week.

That means no golf for Bevan this year at Pebble Beach; he will have to "rough it" on the courses in Maui instead.  Things are tough all over!!

And finally, in the category of "who knew", today is the day to honor elephants.

So instead of "painting your wagon," slap some color on your favorite pachyderm and head on over to Jaipur for the "Best Dressed Elephant" contest.

Shouldn't take you long.  It's just a clomp, a thud, and a plod--plus a couple of oceans--away.

But, here's the good news!  It's free....minus the cost of the paint, the satin, one VERY LARGE "pooper scooper", and the elephant, of course.

Get through the knee surgery. Waiting may make things less fixable. What kind do you need?

I need full replacement of both knees.

Nice car. My kids always had "junks"--but for good reason. I couldn't afford better. Plus I figured they'd wreck it. No big loss if so.

Holly pays for her cars these days. I only bought her two...her little red Mustang convertible for her 16th birthday and a Ford probe when she was a junior in college. She has bought the others.

My favorite all-time color for a car is cobalt blue. Red is nice, though. The thought of traveling makes me tired. I'd like to be at the destination but dread the journey. Unless of course, I had my own private plane to take me.

I would love to do more traveling; but until I have knee surgery, which I keep avoiding, I can't travel far because I cannot sit very long at a time.

I adore elephants and red cars. I would like one of each, please.

Hey, Fredo! I'll bet you would look good on an elephant in one of those fancy costumes!!

I LOVE red cars too--but mine have to be a convertible!!!
The elephant parade is fantastic--go to bing and see their cover page plus the other pictures

That's where I got the idea. I have already looked at the pictures. Yes, I too love red cars; but, like you, I want a convertible as I enter my second childhood!
