I'm reading 3 books: Margin by Dr. Richard A. Swenson, Life after Loss by Bob Deits, and The Little Book of BIG Promotions by Cheryl Dangel Cullen + Lisa L. Cyr . . .
Actually I am re-reading Margin b/c it's a great book on the restoring emotional, physical, financial, and time reserves to overloaded lives.
Dr. Swenson spends half the book explaining that we are living in unprecedented times as progress consumes us. Now I'm reading about how to address the overload which is by intentionally creating margin.
Life after Loss offers a practical guide to renewing your life after experiencing major loss. I actually bought this book for my Mom who has lost so much in this life that she will jet right to heaven when the time comes.
The last book is a visual feast (at least for designers), so I sort of enjoy this book as "dessert"... it's a compilation of wonderful, innovative, and even green ways to promote stuff. I was glad to see an ex-prof's contributions on a few pages.
And that's all there is, folks.
