Taking Mom out to lunch and errands. In that order.
Our favorite Chinese restaurant: Oak Tree Inn on Fair Oaks Avenue. You barely place your order and the waiter is at the table with your soup!
When I like a dish I usually stick w/it but Mom likes to try different ones.
Her favorites are braised eggplant and garlic chicken with broccoli.
They give substantial portions, so there's always take home.
AND - you get the BEST fortunes there for some reason!
