So, at my meeting last night, I got my 10 lb. star. I've lost more than that during the last 5 weeks, but I only get 5 lb. increment rewards. I feel so good! I think this time around, a few things are different:
1) I have a stronger resolve to stick with this than I ever have. I'm NOT giving up.
2) I have stopped depriving myself of food in order to lose weight. If I'm hungry, I eat. If I have weekly points left or activity points earned, I eat them. NO MORE deprivation and starvation!
3) I have learned to say "NO!" I turned down a cupcake today! A cupcake! Baked goodies are one of my normal downfalls. I came home and had a good lunch and a WW ice cream sandwich. I'm thrilled!
4) Exercise is so important.
5) Not drinking and cutting down on sugar and processed foods are paramount.
I am also taking a multivitamin every day starting today.
