Don't know where the week is gone, unless I slept it away. It has been rainy here and I sleep good in that sort of weather. Don't believe I have done much positive except put all my fabric in one big box - and it took a big one. I should be ashamed for having bought so much and sewing so little. Would anyone like to buy a piece very cheap. I have everything from Cashmere wool to gauze cotton. Ha!!
I did clean a bit in my office closet and threw out only 2 pictures. I just can't toss them and have so many. I will leave that to my sons and dils. I have one g daughter that would take them all, but I would like them divided into three families.
I found a small news paper printed in my father's college days and one article was very interesting to me. It was on choosing a vocation. They seemed to have the same problems that we do four generations later. Theirs, at this college was whether to do good for the community or choose a job that would mean big money for them.
Found this in the paper: A girl in a neighboring town advertised for a husband. The total cost of the advertising and wedding was $11,00 In less that 6 weeks her husband died leaving her $10,000 in insurance. AND IT DOESN'T PAY TO ADVERTIZE? The heart broken widow at once wired her parents - John died this a.m. Loss fully covered by insurance.
See you later, nena
