Didn't know it had been so long since I blogged. I have been reading all yours though. Had all my grand-kids in Texas, except two, who couldn 't miss the Aggie game - for dinner Saturday evening. They came early for a good visit and then we went to a wonderful restaurant for dinner. My family is rather small, but there was 12 of us. The ones in Amsterdam and Oregon couldn't make it either. The g-daughters showed off the two new babies and we all enjoyed passing them around.

I am over my fall, but did the same dumb thing again before I decided to get rid of my two decks and add flat areas instead. That is in the works. Am toying between colored concrete and flagstone like blocks. They both will be pretty.

Have the third maid now - the sweet one had to take a leave and have cancer treatment. Pray for her. The second one worked twice before she hit the dust. The last one is going to work out fine. I had to tell her to go home and leave the last room for this week. She is so thorough in her cleaning that I am amazed. Haven't had my home cleaned that good since my great black maid, way back in the sixties.

We are having good rain the past two days. That will save on the water and electricity bills. But it plays havoc with the dog's bathroom trips. They don't really like to go out in the rain. Between showers, I gather all three and go outside.

Had a call from mu Broker that things were looking up. I knew that because I keep up with HIM and my money. Ha!!
He has been adding a bit each month and also sending me the money I need to live (in the manner I have become accustomed to.).

I want to clean off the table in my sewing area and see just how much material I have stored up. Might start an on line store.
