Got up a little earlier today and have already done a few "chores". Watered the outside pot plants, made bed, had breakfast, and now, here I am.

Got the info and a check off to IRS yesterday. Hope they will let me alone for a while. I went back to 2006 and tried to figure out what I owed them. Don' know why they just didn't tell me to begin with. I hope I sent them enough to get them off my back.

My poor sis is having all kinds of problems today. She has such dizzy spells at times that she cannot function. Yesterday, she told me she was going to start giving away her "things" as she knew she would be able to live with me much longer. Breaks my heart!!!!

She is a wonderful person - almost blind since birth, but graduated high school and went on to college. Finished in 3 1/2 years - she's something else. Had to have a reader part of the time, but that didn't stop her. Taught in publc school for a number of years and thm opened her own private school for "special" children. She and her doctor became very good friends during that time, as he got interested in "Her kids" and started treating them also. Some of her kids went on to have successful lives. ONe is in the movie business and most are able to be self-supporting. They were,down syndrone, auatistic, and other problems. I taught with her one year and had a little downpsyn. girl that could read front, back (looking at the back shadow of paper) and up-side down. She wouldn't let any one else read and I made her sit behind me. That didn't solve the problem much. Ha!!

Guess, I am feeling nostalgic today. Those were the good old days. My sons were still home and I had someone to play with.

Summer is here in Houston town. But, I won't complain. I go outside and sit in the sun for a while each day - getting my vitamin D.
