Have been ill for almost a week. Still very weak and it feels very good to just do nothing. I am still suffering from the curse from Mexico - no not swine flu - the other one. New doctor gave me Cipro and as long as it lasted, things looked up. I don't think I will every get totally rid of this awful bug. Wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy. (Tried to think of someone to wish it on and can't. Ha!!)

Guess you heard about our heavy rains in N.W. Houston. I live where it was centered. Thought I might have to build an ark soon. Have never felt I needed flood insurance, but plan to get it now. The water went down in front before I awoke, but my yard had a trash line showing how much it came up. And I have a very high yard. Got a little in the sun-room. Seems the floor mat outside kept it from flowing off and all in front of the door was wet.

But just now the sun is out, even though we may have more showers for about 5 more days.
