Nothing makes you happier than your washing machine quitting in the middle of a wash. Did one load and it worked fine - the next wouldn't spin the water out. Cost me over $150 to get it fixed. But, a home maker cannot be without a washing machine. The man came quickly and now I am back on schedule.

Son John came over last night and brought sister a new flat monitor for her computer. She is enjoying it.

Today was maid's day, but she called and will come tomorrow morning instead. That makes me have to re-arrange my schedule again. Oh, well, that's all I have to do these days. Don't have to be anywhere special at any special time. Retirement is OKAY.

Got up feeling well this a.m. Hope it lasts for a few weeks. I was afraid I had lost my "get up and go". Need to do a few things in my yard, like cutting back and rooting the cuttings. My bougainvillea has been so beautiful that I plan to share it and also to move some to another spot. Blancha, my wonderful housekeeper wants some cuttings.

I wouldn't let my min-pin bark at the service man, so as soon as he left, she let go. She is so smart and sly. This week, she got upset at my sister because she gave her dog the crumbs from her breakfast bars and pouted the rest of the day. Just sat around looking mad. It was her own fault, she stayed in bed too long. Ha!!

Looks like April is on its way out. Time is going by so swiftly these days. Can't seem to get all my things done.
