Today there is a slight breeze on my patio and I enjoyed sitting there - praying and just thinking while taking my 3 critters out.

It is so quiet in my neighborhood just now. We don't have many children - I have four across the street from me, but rarely see them. One has a pool in their back yard, so in the summer, I am sure that is where they are. I sometime miss having teens - but just wait, some will soon be there.

Going to John and Jamie's for a barbecue about two p.m. They are inviting their son and family and his in-laws also, so it will be lively. They are Italian and seem to always have fun. We need some life in our English family - the Hopkins are rather sedate - at times. Ha!!! Jamie has been having so many problems, that I don't know where the energy for this came from.

Sis is barely getting around today, so she will just stay home and sleep. I wish she could go and enjoy her self. She can't hear and it makes her crazy to be in big crowds.

Son Bob and family are probably going to be out on the lake in the boat today. They always have a big time.

Stop and think who we are thankful to today - God and forefathers. nena h
