This old year has gone by pretty fast for me. Have had a few rough spots - but will soon be up and, hope, back to normal. I am walking a bit today for the first time, but still have to wear the "cute" boot. I didn't realize how weak that leg would be. It is pitiful looking, but I hope I can soon regain my muscles that I have lost.
Our Christmas was wonderful - started Christmas eve and went on until the day after. Saw all my Houston and Austin grandkids and greatgrandkids. You know being 87 isn't half bad.
Have started getting the end of the year records ready. I like to close them all out and start the new year all clean.
Like to give my oldest son a copy of my assets, so he can guide me, if I get tooooo wild. Ha!!
I want to get new carpet or hardwood floors for my bedroom. Have not decided which yet. John suggested, I just get new carpet. WEll, maybe.
I want to go to the "Dump" tomorrow. It is a great store that is open only on week-ends and has lots of bargains from stores and companies that have a large overstock. I got a $3200 rug for $1200 last year. Tomorrow the rugs will be $0.15 on the dollar. I need a new one for the dining room.
As you can tell, I am feeling great these days. Knowing I can walk and drive again makes me feel 65 again. Ha!!!!
Hope all have a wonderful, prosperous and healthy year in 2010. Love, nena h
