Yesterday was my 87th birthday and it was - as the kids say - awsome. Heard from all my kids, in laws and gkids, except one and I talked with her Saturday.
ONe g. daughter and her fiance took me to lunch. And I was busy the rest of the day with phone calls, etc.
The weather is great today - even with the rain most of the night. It has been beautiful most of the week. Guess that took care of my depression.
We are doing our cooking today - at least our wonderful home care helpeer is doing it. Tomorrow, all we have to do is heat it up. Don't know what we would do without her. She is like a daughter that I never had.
Have a very Merry Christmas all you friends and here's to a better new year for us. I will start mine, as soon as I can walk, with surgery to my Lucy's front foot. She will be loosing a toe -alone with a growth.
I got a huge boot the last time I went to the doctor. But got instructions not to walk yet. Maybe in two more weeks. It s so heavy and cumbersome - and I have to sleep in it. But, the day I try to walk will be here about Jan. 3rd.
LOve to all, nenah
