Friday Again!

Don't know where the week went. Had a wonderful Mother's day with family at a grandson's house. The gdil's family was there also. She has a grandmother named Nina and he has one named Nena. That should keep them guessing.

Had nerve tests done on legs this week - and good news, very little neuropathy and only in one foot. The dr. said it might not ever get any worse. But that did not stop the tingling that I have at night. Guess the spinal stenosis might be causing the nerves to tingle. I can handle that.

We had a good rain and lots of wind here in our area, but missed the wind. It went farther northeast and the poor people there got the damage. I have three huge trees in my yard that could cause a problem if it blew them over.

Both sons mentioned that they were going on trips about June 11. One is going to Germany to see his new grandson and the other is taking wife, son and dil to Hawaii for about 10 days. I will try to keep myself and sister well and hearty while they are gone. Ha!!

Have been working on my Reed genealogy again. I had gone as far as I could and took a vacation. But have gotten that side of my family back to about 1695. I love finding proof of "who I am." I am a mixed up person with fore-fathers from NOrway, Sweden, France, Netherlands, Germany and England. Found records that had my fore-father's names in them. The old Swede's Church in Wilmington, Del. was given by my grandfathers the Stalcop family. Saw his signature on the deed.

Take care and Y'all have a good weekk-end. Nena

You have done really well in your research! It is so fasciniating! When doing mine, I end up getting interested in someone else's and before I know it a few hours have gone by!

So cool to go back and trace your roots. We're doing some of that as well.
