Grandson picked me up last night to go out to dinner with his father and mother and wife's family. There were ten of us in all. Laura's family is Italian - so we had a lot of talking and laughing going on. My "quiet" Mixed up American family finally got the idea and joined in. Everyone is so happy to have the news of a new baby.

I am not used to eating that late and had a hard night. Not only did I suffer from heart-burn, but my dog had a bad night too. Something was bothering her and she was up and down half the night. I think her nails are too long.

Slept until nine a.m. today and will have a short day. It is now nearly eleven thirty and I am still not dressed. Need to do a little shopping too.

Cloudy today, and a bit chilly. Our Texas weather amazes me. If you don't like it today - just wait, it will change tomorrow!!!
