Had noticed that almost all the birds had flown away. It was so quiet that you could hear almost nothing. Then yesterday, I noticed that the doves were back and today I saw a small bird that I had not seen before. He was gray and had a very pointed bill - almost like the humming birds. He made a very beautiful sound and was not afraid of me, just flew from my bougainvillea's to the large tree in my yard. I wondered if we were due for a hurricane, but guess they decided to come on back.

Have been very busy, don't know where the hours have gone. I am in a sewing mood, so I cut out three outfits and started on them Friday. Almost have two done, except for putting in a zipper - don't have the right color on hand. Tomorrow, I will start on the last one - a beautiful piece of linen in the maroon family color.

My sister seems to be improving in spirit since she has someone coming in each morning. She still has problems with walking part of the day.

Have been to see my great grandson, Preston the last two Sundays. He is crawling and so proud of himself. What would we do without the younger ones in the family. They keep you young.
