Haven't felt much like bogging the past few weeks. I have had another spinal procedure and am trying to cope with the pain from my old body. I hurts in so many places to try to walk, but I am doing it. Gave up the wheel chair last week and am determined to do it on my own.

Can now hobble out and get my paper and mail - that's a big accomplishment for me, as someone else has done it for a few weeks.

Will start therapy nest week (if I can make myself). I hate it. Need to go by the doctor's office and pick up a prescription.

Heard the new year come in last night. I awoke about 11:45 and heard all the firecrackers. I live in the county and they are legal here. Didn't hear any gun fire though. That scares me and what goes up must come down. There was one man in the other side of the county, that died from a gun fire.

I am trying to get my end of the year business all done.
Have already made a new file for 2009.

I am expecting my sixth great grand child in June. What wonder news. Hope it is a girl. I didn't have any girls and love having granddaughters.

Our weather is wonderful here - cold at night and warms up during the day. We are using only the fireplace today for warmth and will have to turn it down before the day is over.

Here's a great, healthy, happy, prosperous new year. Let us live each day to our very vest.
