Hearts are rallying, embracing
my dear sister-in-law, Sylvia,
with sun sparks of prayers
since she was just diagnosed
with stage 4 ovarian cancer,
wrenching our balance
and turning our sidewalks
into tightropes of concern

We spend our days now
sending her ocean waves of hope,
singing heartsongs of healing,
burning meditative candles,
wishing wishing wishing
oh how we wish
we could rescue her
precious precious precious
life from all this

Don't lose hope. I have a friend who had stage 4 and through nutrition and
healing prectices was able to beat it. She has been cancer free for 20 years.
