Let's also hope that there are still things on the shelves at the grocery store! We used to have these kinds of storm warnings on the Oregon coast and the rush of people buying up supplies would leave our local grocery store empty. Hope you can weather it well. Good luck!
The pics remind me of a trip I took through Idaho and into Utah to relieve my mom's care-giver for Christmas. Scariest driving I've ever done was through blowing powder snow. I couldn't see the road at all but I couldn't stop for fear of it piling up around me and getting snowed in. I found a truck and followed the top of his trailer, which was the only thing I could see. Whew! Never want to do that again!
Do you get any trick-or-treaters?
I always knew when my truck driver husband was getting closer, without any gadgets to give me clues. I'd get a sudden urge to clean the house!
You need a sun room for your plants!
Great news!
So interesting!
I just love the comparisons! I'm glad I live now.
You've just illustrated bi-polar disorder better than I've ever heard it described. I know other sufferers who have been helped by medication but it does take time and patience to get it right. Don't loose heart. If you regret refusing certain treatment while in the midst of an episode, but have since reconsidered, by all means, tell your doctor.
Sounds like she enjoyed the company and could afford to be generous. Too bad about the antique store, though.
I hope you find her. I'd be worried too!
It's hard enough to have to go through something like that without also having to worry about where the money is going to come from. A good friend of mine lost her husband to cancer recently. Since he didn't have any insurance, they didn't fight it at all. So sad.
That's one thing about living in the woods that scares me... fire. Hope they can get a handle on this one.
Awww... how sweet! Cute embroidery, and cat! My favorite aunt's name was Eloise.
