Last night, Ray got together with the gals from work for cards again. It is one of those events where spouses are not allowed. I decided to take advantage of the time to just veg out and relax. I decided to jump on the Internet and put the pedal to the metal!
I played Mario Kart Wii for a couple of hours. It was the usual amount of fun. I would probably surprise you with some of the potty-mouth language that comes out from between my lips as I am cursing at the various people I am playing with from all over the world.
I am definitely getting better at playing this game. I have actually started to get my score back up to the default number of points that you start with, which is good. I don't usually win races, but I often end up in the top three or four out of twelve. Granted, that is not great, but it is a lot better than I was.
The one thing I hate about the game is the annoying music it comes with. I am not sure what it is about computer games, but the repetitive music always drives me totally nuts! The cool thing about the Wii is you can turn off the sound on the TV because the remotes release some of the sound effects sounds so I still get to hear the important stuff. That way I can paly the radio while I do all of this.
I am still trying to convince Ray to play this one. Since you pretty much steer just like you do with a car, anyone can really do it. It would be so much fun. Though, he might not take my swearing at him over the gam well.
