I agree with everything you have said. I think the problem with our hate crime laws (the general ones) is they are not applied to the level they are supposed to be. That is why I think people want specialized laws. Our country is based on religious freedom, and as such, we should not be defining legal entities based on religious tracts, period. I respect people's right to believe what they want on homosexuality, but they don't have a right to force those views on me or anyone else. AJ
