and it was kinda funny. I told them that R has strep and that my throat was getting scratchy and red, so I wanted to be tested just to be sure I was in the clear. So they tested me... last time I was tested for strep at this doc I swatted her arm - I felt like she was trying to choke me! haha I told her this time I was going to sit on my hands, and I did. I did ok! They came back in and told me that the test was negative. I said YAY! The doc said - not so fast, I think you have it but it's early. She said my glands were swollen and my throat looked like strep. I said oh. Boo. She gave me antibiotics. I had also asked to have a tetanus shot since everyone at my part time job has been telling me I need one in case I ever get bit - so I got one. Man those make your arm hurt. BOO!

I called in to the part time job after I left the doc saying I wasn't going to be there tomorrow (today) because I am highly contagious and had strep. They were fine about it, which was nice. I went to bed last night at 10pm and slept til 11:30 today. I have been napping all day long. I am hoping to stay awake for the whole Bama game - they better win!!!
